Supreme Court of KOREA
The courts, except when otherwise provided under the Constitution, judge all legal disputes and manage or supervise registration, registration of family relations, deposits, and the carrying out of the duties of execution officers and certified judicial scriveners.
Ministry of Justice
The Ministry of Justice performs the duties of managing and executing the prosecution service, protective disposition, and security surveillance disposition, managing criminal administration, protecting and observing teenagers, protecting violators for rehabilitation, protecting human rights, managing immigration and foreigner polices, giving advice with regard to legislation, and conducting legal administration.
Supreme Prosecutors' Office
The prosecution service performs the duties of investigating crimes, filing and maintaining arraignment, commanding and supervising judicial police officers with regard to criminal investigation, claiming adequate application of the laws and ordinances from the court, and commanding and supervising the execution of judicial decisions.
National Police Agency
The police performs the duties of protecting the people??s lives/bodies/properties, preventing and investigating crimes, cracking down on criminals and traffic violators, gathering security information, and otherwise maintaining public security and order.
KOREA Coast Guard
The maritime police performs the duties of patrolling the ocean and exterminating marine pollution.
